Katrick Technologies COP26 Community Engagement Project.

Last month we launched our community wind panel design competition with seven local schools in Glasgow. The students were tasked with designing the outer panels of our wind panel around the theme of “A Greener World”. Two winners willl be selected to have their designs printed and displayed on our wind panels for COP26 in Glasgow.

Alongside the competition our team provided a presentation on our innovative technologies, the benefits they have to reaching our global Net Zero targets, and how to get involved in green energy careers ranging from engineering, to design, marketing and communications to finance.

Good luck to the students from Caldercuilt Primary, Cadder Primary, Highpark Primary, Parkview Primary, Dunard Primary, Kelvindale Primary, and John Paul Academy.

We look forward to the results and announcing our winners with MSP Kauakab Stewart on Friday the 5th of November!

Our community engagement project would not have been possible without the help from Glasgow City Council and STEMGlasgow.
