Katrick Technologies prepares for US market.
Established entrepreneur and startup mentor John B. Strong joins as Advisor to the CEO at innovative IP Greentech startup, Katrick Technologies.
A new partnership between technology entrepreneur John B. Strong and Greentech innovator Katrick Technologies seeks to support the startup’s scaling and preparation for the US market. They are attracting prospective commercial partners to deliver their new and innovative Wind Panel technology.
Katrick Technologies are on a mission to accelerate the renewable transition to renewable energy with a platform of new and innovative technologies. Their first technology seeking to come to market is their modular and scalable Wind Panels.
The patented honeycomb-shaped panels utilize a market-first design of independently oscillating aerofoils within a ducted system to effectively capture the turbulent nature of ground-level winds. From hillsides to roadways, airports and ports, the Wind Panels can be placed across a wide range of locations to deliver carbon-free electricity.
An ambitious startup with plans to revolutionize the future of renewables, UK-based Katrick Technologies has joined forces with American technology industry expert John B. Strong. With a passion for environmentally and socially minded technology companies, Strong has co-founded Meditech business Medicine Box and invested in a range of companies including battery manufacturer Flow Aluminum, San Francisco-based edge-to-cloud infrastructure provider Particle, sustainable Blockchain provider Devvio, and methane remediation firm TS-Nano.
“Katrick Technologies’ new Wind Panel technology is an exciting innovation in the capture and use of an untapped form of wind energy,” said John B. Strong. “Its aesthetic design is easily envisioned across the varied landscape here in the US and their team are poised to do so.”
In his role as an Advisor to Vijay Madlani, CEO of Katrick Technologies, the team are looking to support their entry into the US market. “This collaboration is an ambitious new move for Katrick Technologies as we progress towards our final product. We have always seen America as a great opportunity for our Wind Panel technology and with the support from John B. Strong, we are confident that our technology can have a positive impact on the American renewable landscape.”
The Wind Panels are currently in development, but Katrick Technologies have already secured a 3,000-unit soft order from Edinburgh Airport and are engaging with UK and European-based global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to build, sell, and distribute their technology. With the support of their exciting new collaboration, they are now setting their eyes on establishing an American presence with their company and securing commercial agreements with US-based OEMs.
